New Idea!
I decided instead of making calendar cards to use frames and then people can hang them on the wall or sit them on their desk. Here is a couple of pictures of those.

More cards
Last night I finished Calendar Card #3, made a Chistmas Card and also a Happy New Year Card. The Happy New Year card is a challenge for Michael Strong's group. You had to use something that you would have thrown in garbage. The 2 gold twist ties are part of those things I used. Then my daughter had received a bath set last year for Christmas and she took the stuff out of the box and gave me the box. I took the bead and gold elastic that was used to keep the box shut, and used them on this card!

New Michael Strong rubber stamps
With some of my mom's Christmas money I ordered 2 more of Michael Strong's stamps, and love them! I hope eventually to get all of them!!!
Anyhow, a lady on one of my groups, made cards with small calendars on them, and I got the idea to try some. I have made 2. At the end of each money, the person can tear off that month, and have a small desk calendar for the whole year. I think it is a great gift idea.

Mosiac Cards
This can be more time consuming, but I think they are sooo pretty. I actually added a "Thank you" on the front of this, and gave it to our associate pastor and his wife for Pastor appreciation. I am almost finished another one that I will post a picture of soon. I got this idea from Judi from the Scrapbooking Lounge on the weekly project.

New Technique
Ok, you glue a piece of foil on a piece of cardstock, make sure there are no lumps of glue, and you can use a brayer to flatten the foil nicely. Then run it through the cuttlebug like you would a regular piece of cardstock, and here is what it will look like! Isn't it pretty?
Puzzle pieces!
Well, I have been decorating puzzle pieces. You can buy puzzles at the thrift store very cheap, and decorate them. Here is 6 puzzle pieces decorated for winter. These can be used on cards, or anywhere else you wish to use them!

Fall basket and set of 5 fall cards
I decorated a basket for the fall and in it will be these 5 cards pictured and envelopes. I am doing baskets to sell at our school's silent auction on November 5. The next one I will do is a Christmas basket with some Christmas cards in it and a small champagne glass with a candle in it. I tried to use saran wrap to cover the baskets and their contents but that didn't work too well. Where can I get the stuff professional people use to put over their baskets?

Cuttlebug embossing border folders
For my birthday I got a set of 4 embossing folders for my cuttlebug. They actually didn't arrive until we had moved here. I made a card using the the flower border folder and the with love (which is yellow on the card and hard to see)
The blue/orange on white card was made with an ATC on front, that someone had sent me.
Then there is the blue/purple card, I kind of like those colors together too.
I love the Friends card; the background is flowered vellum.

Inchies and Twinchies
I made several inchies and twinchies today! Made a bunch for fall cards and some Christmas ones too, and a set of 5 pet ones (dogs and cats.) It was fun. Now to put them on a card. The picture of the Fall ones isn't very easy to see, sorry about that. I will have to take pictures of them separately then post the picture again.

Paper bag book!
Ok, I made my 1st paper bag book out of brown lunch bags for my best friend's birthday. She lives in Arkansas and is not online, so I can put pictures of it on her without worrying that she will see them. This was fun to make. When you cut the flaps off of the bottom of the lunch bags and then fold them over and punch holes and use ribbon to keep them all together, there are actually pockets. I decorated both sides of the pockets and made inserts for the pockets. Here is where I learned how to do this.

Paper Clippies
I think these are so cute. I cut the flowers out with my cuttlebug and then use brads to put them together and glue them on a large paperclip. These are great embellishments for cards! Selling 8 of these for $5 and that includes the postage.

2 pocket card
Today's challenge on happyrubberstamping was a 2 pocket card. Here is mine. I hope to make some more of these. The card does not open. You put the sentiments on the tags you put in the 2 pockets.
Here is a tutorial for the 2 pocket card. It is really simple to make.

Brown/Blue color combo. cards
I love these colors together too!
Here is a few I have finished using the dark brown/blue combo.
They are nicer when you see them than in the pictures. I have a lot of windows in my kitchen, which I love, but when I take pictures of cards on the table, they seem too light, because of the sunshine.

New cards!
I found on a lady's blog, instructions on how to take 3 co-ordinating colors of scrapbook paper = 12 x 12 and make 10 cards with these pieces. I used plain white cards from Hobby Lobby and here are my 10 cards! Any comments? I love this color combination!

Men's Cards
I made 3 men's cards last night: 1 get well, 1 happy birthday and 1 sympathy. For some reason the picture isn't as sharp as the cards are; might be the bright sunlight coming in our many windows in our home. Anyhow, they are kind of plain, but what man likes frills and bows???

Easter cards
My friend, Hannah came over Fri. night and we made Easter cards. Here are pictures of 10 Easter cards! I have been having fun because I saw somewhere that you take 3 different colors of scrapbook card stock paper and if you cut it out just right (I printed up the measurements) you can make 10 cards with the pieces. I also used that method to do the yellow/blue cards. I usually ended up with not all the pieces, so just winged it at the end.
Enjoy these cards! The ones I don't sell, I am sending to the shut-ins from our church.

Blue and Yellow make a pretty combo!
I used 2 shades of blue and yellow and made some cards. I really like the color combos! The dark blue is stamped with a background stamp. Also I did a purple and yellow card which is also pretty. I used a versamark stamp pad and a rubber stamp to do the background, works great!

My cards
I am posting pictures of some of the cards I am making. When I try to crop them and make the background smaller, then it won't show the entire card. I don't know why, but that is why I have had to leave the background on the last cards I have posted.
Anyhow, I love making cards! It is my therapy! It is very relaxing for me. I sell them, too. At Christmas I sold about 50 cards! If you want something special and wish to order from me; let me know.
